Aneta Lighting (formerly Aneta Belysning) initially manufactured textile lampshades when the company was founded in 1947. Since then, the business has developed and rapidly expanded to include a full range of decorative home lighting and lampshades for the Nordic market. Since the 90s, production has been transferred to partners in the far east, while design and product development is carried out from Sweden and Norway. Since the beginning, the business has been based in Växjö and is now part of the Norwegian group Byggma ASA together with Aneta Lighting AS in Kristiansand, Norway.

The range today consists of Aneta Home, which focuses on home lighting via a wide network of traders in the Nordics, as well as the professional range Aneta Professional with functional lighting, which is sold via electrical wholesalers in the Nordics.
